Lush Wishlist #1

Lush Wishlist #1

Hi guys,

Sorry I haven't been posting much but I have a week of exams coming up next week so I won't be posting very regularly. I made this wishlist before Christmas but thought I'd publish it so you can see what I am lusting after by Lush.

I do really like Lush but I do find that it's quite expensive; nearly £5 for a bath bomb?! However, I do really like the stuff.

First of all, I really want to try the Cupcake Face Mask. First of all it smells of chocolate! Need I say more? It also claims to do exactly what I want a facemask to do, so I want to try this out!

Tea Tree Water, I don't really know why I want this, but I just really want to try it out. It sounds cool and my toners nearly run out, so, you never know, I might be purchasing this soon.

I love the taste of bubblegum so have always wanted to try the Bubblegum Lip Scrub, but £5.50?! I'd rather make my own - which I have. Let me know if you would like a DIY.

And last the Christmas Stuff. Ahhh, the infamous Snow Fairy - everyone seems to love this. I smelt this in store once and instantly fell in love with it! Sadly I now have to wait just under a year to sniff it again :(

And last Golden Wonder bath bomb, I want to try this because it turns your bath water a teal colour!!! It's basically a novelty product but nevertheless I want to try it.

So that's it, that's what I'm after in Lush. Are after anything?

Review: Rimmel Match Pefection

Sorry its been a while, but I've had a bit of bloggers block. I've been focusing on promoting my book blog for a bit and doing a bit of work on it. I'm finally happy with it and I'm now producing regular content on that! I'd love it if you could check it out! :)
Anyway, today I am reviewing the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation. I've been testing this out for roughly 1 month and have formed an opinion on it. I decided to pick this up when I had a Boots voucher, everybody seems to say that this is one of the best drugstore foundations, and I have to say, I agree.

I picked up the lightest shade available and have to admit it's a darn good colour match. I struggle so much with finding foundations that don't look orange on me as sadly I am not blessed with olive skin! :( I'm as pale as a milk bottle.

This gives a light - medium coverage which I really like. My skin isn't that bad and at the moment I am spot free (Woop)! I apply this with my fingers as I prefer the finish: it looks more natural and less like you're wearing foundation, more that you have amazing skin. I found that once this is set with a powder you're good to go and it has pretty good staying power.  It lasts around 8-9 hours even with my oily skin.

I'm really impressed with this foundation and highly recommend it if you're looking for a natural, light foundation.

Wishlist #3 by tashtastic

Hi guys!

Even though I just put up a sales haul last week, I'm still after more. We saw the first glimpses of sun where I live and that made me think of Spring and Summer. So a lot of this stuff is for those months.
I love the style of these jeans and they're only £15!

£9.99 -

I'm thinking of summer, I nearly bought this but didn't, I love it!
I think this skirt is so cute and would look so good in the summer!
I need some PE shorts so I'm wanting these ones.
I've heard so much about Topshop makeup, so I'm interested in trying their eyeliner, I've heard good things about it!

£6.99 -
I'm a lover of Tanya Burr so I'm desperate to try her Lips and Nail Polish line!

£1.00 -
A Topshop nail varnish reduced to £1! And it's such a gorgeous colour - I love it!

What have you been lusting after recently??

Hi guys!

A super quick post today as I have to do some revision for the Intermediate Maths Challenge *yawns*. This I've had sitting in drafts for god knows how long, so I thought it was about time I published it. I love this outfit, I think it's really edgy and I love wearing it on a night out.

Top - Select
Skirt - Matalan (similar)

Sales Haul

Hi guys!

Today I'm going to show you some of the bits and pieces I have bought recently. Some of the stuff was in the sale and some were new things; enjoy!

Primark Top (not available online)
First thing I bought was this top from Primark, this was £3 so it was total bargain! It has lace on the shoulders and the rest of the top is grey and navy.

Denim Skater Skirt - New Look
Blouse - New Look

Next things I bought are both from New Look. The first thing is a mint/blue blouse. I love the colour of this and it reminds of something in Topshop but for half the price. It also has white spots on it and I think it's just so summery - roll on summer!
I also bought a denim skater skirt. I have been after a denim skater skirt for sooo long! I nearly bought one like this before Christmas but I decided to wait for the sales. Do you think I could find a skater skirt? No, so when I finally saw a skirt I quickly bought it. It's the perfect fit for me and and is just the right length.

Jeans - Republic (not available online)

I was after a darker pair of jeans and nearly bought the Topshop Leigh Jeans, but £36??! I just couldn't bring myself to spend that amount. So when I saw this pair reduced to £10, I bought them. They're really comfy, a good fit and now I wear them all the time.

Bag - New Look (not available online)

This bag was reduced to £6 and I just love it. It's a gorgeous teal colour and it's just the right size for all my junk. I think this is going to be my summer bag!

Purse - Primark (not available online)

One of the main reasons I bought this was because it said 'Tash' on it. My nickname is Tash and I like moustaches - that's my justification for this. It was £3 and I now use it to house a few makeup bits.

Face Mask - Lush
Bath Bomb - Lush (not available online)

I don't tend to shop in Lush all that often as I think it's quite overpriced. But, they had a Christmas sale on. I bought this snowman bath bomb for £1 something. He smells sooo good, quite sweet and vanillery and he's just too cute! I also bought the Love Lettuce face mask, I've been tempted by the Lush Facemasks but they £5.95 and I didn't know if it was worth it. So when I saw this reduced to £2.98 I thought I'd buy. Expect a review soon!

Shampoo - Boots

As soon as I saw a review of this saying how it was good I knew I had to try it. I think it's new this week. It's the L'Oreal Fibreology thickening shampoo. Instead of trying to add volume to fine hair it actually thickens each individual hair strand with some sciencey chemical. I've used it once so far and I must say, I'm impressed. Review coming soon.

Concealer - Boots
Foundation - Boots
Lip Balm - Boots

The last things I bought were from Boots. I bought the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. Loads of people have this and I've read really good reviews so I thought I'd buy it seen as I had a voucher. I repurchased my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, I went a shade lighter this time and it's the perfect shade! And finally I bought another Baby Lips, this is Hydrate and I love it. It's always in my blazer at school or in my bag.

So that's it for my haul! Have you picked up anything new recently?
